Only One Umrah Allowed During Ramadan

Umrah has a spiritual and religious significance, and especially during the holy month of Ramadan, its importance increases. Ramadan is a peak season for Umrah, Muslims from all across the globe visit Saudi Arabia and head to the Grand Mosque of Makkah in large numbers to perform Umrah. 

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah issued a statement in which they declared that the Saudi kingdom authorities would not be granting permits for a second pilgrimage during Ramadan. The ministry requested the believers to perform a single Umrah so that others could also visit the holy site during this blessed month.

The New rules and regulations will be implemented and strict action has been taken in an effort to reduce overcrowding in Makkah and guarantee a safer pilgrimage experience for the visitors who traveled from Pakistan and other countries to this holy land.

The new policy will be implemented through NUSUK, which is an online Umrah permit processing platform operated by the government. According to NUSUK, if someone applies for a second permit, the following notification will show up: "The permit issuance fails."

In addition, the Saudi authorities have also implemented various measures to accommodate the visitors, for a seamless and comfortable experience for worshippers 

To avoid crowding specific mosque gates have been assigned for pilgrims' entry and exit. 

The ground floor and circumambulation courtyard are two sections of the mosque that also have been reserved for Umrah pilgrims.

 The duration of Umrah visa has also been extended by Saudi authorities from 30 days to 90 days.

How many times can you do umrah in one day?

Ans: Two Umrah rituals can be performed in a single day, but it's not an easy task and it is not necessary to perform more than one umrah in Islam but if you have strength to perform it, you can do it twice in a single day. However, you must start your second Umrah from a point which should be outside of the Haram area.

Can we use the same ihram for the second Umrah?

Ans: If someone wants to perform another Umrah and the ihram is not impure and dirty, then it is not necessary to buy another Ihram to perform Umrah 2nd time. 

Can you do umrah twice in one trip during Ramadan ?

Ans: No, according to the new rules and regulation issued by Saudi authorities the pilgrims are only permitted to perform Umrah one time during the month of Ramadan and are not allowed to repeat it twice in a single trip.
