PIA adds new destinations in collaboration with Malaysia Airlines

To accommodate more travelers, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced plans to expand its operations by flying to 11 new destinations. The airline has partnered with Malaysian Airlines through a code-share agreement called Special Prorate Agreement (SPA) to add destinations in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam. This partnership will strengthen the relationship between the two countries and promote trade and people-to-people contact.

 

By utilizing Malaysian Airlines' hub in Kuala Lumpur, PIA will be able to fly to 11 new destinations, including Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Auckland, Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, Jakarta, Manila, and Ho Chi Minh City. In addition to convenient flight timings, reduced fares will also be offered to make travel easier and more affordable.

The expansion not only meets the demand of travelers but also caters to Pakistani expatriates who reside in far-off locations. PIA is also planning to resume its Europe operation after the recent suspension due to allegations of pilots having bogus licenses.
