Location
Amilla Fushi Resort is a 5-star resort property located in an island with pristine crystal clear water and white sandy beach in Baa Atoll. The property is a 30-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport and a 15-minute flight to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport in Baa Atoll.
Rooms
Each house features a private pool and fitted with dining area, air-conditioning, mini bar, TV with satellite channels, DVD player, safe deposit box, coffee/tea making facilities, work desk and en suite bathroom.
Restaurant
A variety of local and international cuisines are available at the resort's restaurants. The gourmet cafe and deli shop offers fresh fruits and vegetables, bakery items and gourmet preserves. In addition, the resort has a wine shop which houses 8,000 wine bottles and guests can also partake in wine tasting accompanied with a selection of cheeses.
Amenities
A range of activities including scuba diving, fishing and snorkeling are available in the area. Other leisure activities also include a well-equipped fitness center, tennis court and yoga classes. In addition, the resort's spa is offering various massage treatments and beauty services.

Over at the resort restaurants, Amilla have new menu covers, table mats, napkins and sustainable wooden pizza boxes.

The Amilla Heart of House area has also been freshened up, with a brand-new air-conditioned recreation hall for the resort team, packed with things to entertain them during their down time. The area includes a new pool table, table tennis, table football and an area for card games and board games.

There are even cocktail menus packed with probiotic sodas and a sugar-free section.

But it doesn’t end there. The delicious wellness cuisine even extends to a new ‘Sleep Well at Amilla’ evening turndown service, featuring sweet tasty treats made with natural sleep-improving ingredients, rather than traditional chocolates on the pillows. Ingredients include tart cherry juice, turmeric, nuts and banana to help lull guests into a deep, restful sleep. The holistic concept also expands to the resort’s new ‘Dhivehi Beys’ spa treatments which take inspiration from traditional Maldivian herbal medicine to breathe new life into the typical spa experience.

Despite COVID-19 still affecting the entire world, Amilla had a strong start to 2021. Travellers are recognising the safety and security that a holiday on the resort island provides, and feel comfortable travelling here.

INCREASED SAFETY SERVICES • Amilla's ongoing policy of PCR testing all arrivals to the island (including testing and quarantining all returning staff) continues to pay off, with no COVID-19 present on the island. • Amilla are now taking this regimen one step further by purchasing the very own rapid PCR testing machine. This Bosch Vivalytic machine will allow us to process tests on Amilla, thus avoiding the waiting time involved with sending samples to Male'. • Test results should be available for guests within two-three hours (rather than 16-18), which means by the time they have unpacked and taken a refreshing swim in their private swimming pool their test results will be available, so then they're free to roam the naturally lush island.

COVID-19 UPDATE
• This week sees the rollout of COVID vaccinations for the team. Resort will start with guest-facing staff and continue to keep all of the team safe, which in turn keeps our guests safe.
• The new Rapid PCR machine will still provide complimentary testing for all arriving guests and staff. With just a two to three-hour turnaround for results, this service continues to give us the advantage of an extra layer of protection for guests and staff, keeping the bubble of safety strong,
• The new in-villa amenities are due any day. The ingredients used have natural anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties and the best part is the unique delightful signature scent using a blend of tea tree, mint and geranium. These amenities are refilled in ceramic bottles, which massively reduces the plastic waste on the island.
