The tour commences with a sightseeing journey of Copenhagen, the capital of the Kingdom of Denmark. The renowned statue of "The Little Mermaid", inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, evokes a sense of childhood nostalgia and serves as a significant symbol to the Danish people. Our next stop is Amalienborg, which is considered one of the most exceptional examples of Danish Rococo architecture. This structure comprises four identical palaces interconnected by a square, constructed during the 1700s. If you are fortunate, you may witness the ceremonial changing of the guards, a daily event that takes place in the afternoon. The Hans Christian Andersen boulevard leads to a statue of the celebrated writer situated in the City Square. Known for his works such as "The Ugly Duckling" and "The Little Mermaid", Hans Christian Andersen's motto was "To travel is to live." He spent 43 years traveling between his homeland and other countries, drawing inspiration for his fairy tales and stories from his time overseas. Following lunch, we will proceed towards Stockholm by road.

Following breakfast, we proceed towards Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, situated on 14 islands in the Baltic Sea, widely regarded as the most stunning of all Nordic cities. After lunch, we embark on a city tour that includes a visit to the City Hall of Stockholm (Stadshuset), a world-renowned edifice considered one of the most beautiful buildings. Inside, the most exclusive ballroom in Stockholm hosts the annual Nobel Banquet, attracting close to 400,000 visitors every year. The Blue Hall leads guests to the Golden Hall (Gyllene salen), bedecked with over 18 million glass and gold mosaic pieces, crafted by artist Einar Forseth. Visitors can dance in this magnificent hall, which features as a significant artwork of Stockholm. The tour proceeds with visits to the old Parliament building, the Vasa warship, and the Storkyrkan cathedral.

Following breakfast, the coach sets off towards Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake, and Lillehammer, renowned for hosting the 1994 Winter Olympics. Lillehammer, with a population of just under 23,000, offers a tranquil and expansive winter landscape due to its spacious surroundings. We arrive in the evening and spend the night in Lillehammer or a nearby city. Kindly note that we will not be visiting the city of Lillehammer.

Following breakfast, we journey towards Briksdal, the largest glacier in continental Europe located in Norway. The glacier covers 800 square meters, with its lowest point 400 meters below sea level and highest point at 2,000 meters above sea level. Surrounding the glacier is the Jostedalsbreen National Park, where we will board open troll-cars to admire the wildlife, clear streams, raging rivers, and waterfalls. The ride lasts for half an hour, following which our group will have ten minutes of leisure time to take photographs and observe the Briksdal glacier up close. In the afternoon, we head south towards Gudvangen.

Following breakfast, the coach proceeds to Gudvangen dock where the group boards the Sognefjord Cruise to explore the world's longest and deepest fjord, Sognefjord, which is an unparalleled spectacle of natural beauty. Spending two hours in the midst of intoxicating scenery, the sightseeing ship arrives at Fla°m. Following lunch, we will embark on one of the most stunning rail journeys in the world, Fla°msbana. This exciting railway journey attracts visitors from all over the world, as it passes through breathtaking fjords, waterfalls, and valleys. After the ride, we return to the hotel for dinner.

Following breakfast, we set off to the Norwegian capital of Oslo. Every year on the 10th of December, this city hosts the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony, commemorating the passing of Founder-Inventor Alfred Nobel. Unlike the other four prizes awarded in Stockholm, Sweden, the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony is held in Oslo. Next, we visit the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park, which is situated inside the Frogner park grounds. On display are over 212 bronzes and granite statues, depicting the theme of the Human Condition and illustrating relationships between men and women, adults and children. This attraction is not to be missed!

After breakfast, we head south towards the Port of Gothenburg, which is one of Western Europe's major ports. On Go¨taplatsen, we can find Swedish sculptor Carl Milles’ famous seven-metre-high statue of the sea god Poseidon. The statue, unveiled in 1931, caused a stir among residents who complained about the length of its legs and the size of its genitalia. Another must-visit attraction is the Feskeko^rka (‘fish church’ in Swedish) fish market hall, where you can purchase a variety of seafood delicacies caught that day. Don't miss the chance to try the freshest catch of the day. Our city tour concludes at the Gothenburg Cathedral (Domkyrkan Go¨teborg), which is the seat of the bishop of Gothenburg in the Church of Sweden. We will then continue our journey southbound and finally arrive in Copenhagen in the evening.
