Description

Goygol district in western Azerbaijan is a picturesque region, home to the famous Goygol Lake located 1,600 meters above sea level. The lake's clear, blue waters and forested banks make it one of the most beautiful in the Caucasus. The State Goygol reserve is located here, home to a variety of wildlife, including noble Caucasian deer, bear, fox, wild cat, and many bird species.
