After enjoying breakfast, it's time to explore the renowned educational institution of the nation: Cambridge University. Apart from the academic ambiance, Cambridge is where many luminaries have begun to dream of a promising future, with breathtaking pastoral landscapes, picturesque rivers, and striking architecture. The University of Cambridge comprises an impressive collection of buildings, including King's College and Queens College, situated amidst idyllic bridges and countryside.

While in Cambridge, it's highly recommended to experience the "Cambridge Penny" trip, where a boatman, often a college student, uses a long pole to propel passengers along the river Cambridge. Additionally, purchasing a sweater, postcard, or magnet with the Cambridge school badge or Cambridge University logo is a popular souvenir choice.

For overnight accommodations, we suggest a minimum 3-star hotel in York or a nearby city.

York is a fascinating medieval city, showcasing a blend of Roman, Saxon, and Viking cultures. The city remains largely preserved from the Middle Ages, providing a glimpse of the rustic side of Britain. A visit to York Minster, the largest Gothic cathedral in northern Europe, is a must-see. You can also step up onto York city walls, dating back to Roman times, to explore the city from a unique perspective. For those interested in discovering little grass-roots shops, there will be ample time for wandering around.

When visiting the UK, trying an English afternoon tea is a must. There is a century-old tea house in York, where we have arranged enough time for you to enjoy an authentic British afternoon tea experience.

For overnight accommodations, we recommend a minimum 3-star hotel in Edinburgh or a nearby city.

After breakfast, our next destination is the hilly and compact Scottish capital of Edinburgh, representing the best of Scottish heritage. The warm and lively nation of quirky characters will charm you with wooden barrows of golden single malt whiskey, checked kilts, and Scottish bagpipes. Upon arrival, we'll first visit Edinburgh Castle, situated on stunning volcanic rock structures. Once inside, we'll admire the oldest royal crown and jewelry. We'll continue this royal trail with a visit to Holyrood Palace and the City Hall.

For those interested, an optional visit to JK Rowling's Ivory Café, where Harry Potter was authored, can be arranged for a cup of coffee. Alternatively, you can visit a photo studio with family or friends to cosplay as "ancient Scots" and take pictures, which is also an exciting experience. After enjoying dinner in Edinburgh, we'll board the coach and head towards Glasgow.

Today, we'll fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of Scotland. Our first stop is the Glenfinnan Viaduct, made famous by the Hogwarts train in the Harry Potter movies. In the summer, you may catch a glimpse of steam trains passing by.

Next, we'll visit Fort Augustus, named after the ancient Roman emperor Augustus. The town is located at the southernmost tip of Loch Ness and boasts picturesque scenery. Loch Ness is home to Scotland's oldest and enduring myth, the Loch Ness Monster. A boat tour on the lake offers the opportunity to discover the truth behind this legendary creature.

On the way back, we'll pass through Scotland's first national park, Loch Lomond, located on the boundary between the Highland and the Lowland fault. The lake is dotted with over 30 small islands, offering stunning views. Of course, we'll take plenty of pictures along the way.
