Leaving Amsterdam in the morning, you'll journey south across the border to Brussels, the capital city of Belgium and the political center of the European Union. Along the way, the tour will stop at the iconic Atomium monument, a cell-shaped structure made of stainless steel spheres and tubes originally built for the 1958 World's Fair. Once in Brussels, an orientation tour will take you to the stunning Grand Place and the famous Manneken Pis statue. You'll have some free time to indulge in some delicious Belgian cuisine before continuing on to Paris, traveling south across the French border.

For the next two days, Paris is your playground as you embark on guided tours of one of the world's most renowned cities. Your Parisian escapades kick off with a thrilling drive along the famous Champs Élysées to the Place de la Concorde, a significant site during the French Revolution. You'll also catch a glimpse of the iconic Arc de Triomphe, an imposing monument near the avenue's western end, commemorating the fall of the revolution and Napoleonic wars.

Next on the itinerary is a visit to L'Hôtel National des Invalides, where Napoleon's tomb is located, followed by a stop at Paris's most legendary icon, the Eiffel Tower.

Finally, you'll travel by coach to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, a vast and regal château that was once the royal family's residence until the revolution began in 1789. Today, the palace remains one of Paris's most popular attractions.

In the evening, you can opt to attend one of Paris's evening shows for a truly unforgettable experience.

On day two of your Parisian adventure, you will visit the world-renowned Louvre, home to some of history's most famous works of art, such as the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace, and Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. You can opt for a guided gallery tour, which will allow you to browse hundreds of works in just a few hours, enhancing your experience. Later, you can take a leisurely cruise along the river Seine, offering splendid views of iconic Parisian landmarks, including Notre-Dame Cathedral and Pont Alexandre III.

After lunch in the museum, head to the area surrounding the Palais Garnier, Paris's Opera House, where you can either enjoy a French 4-course dinner and show experience or spend time shopping at the legendary department stores Galleries Lafayette.

For some tour members, it may be time to say farewell to new-found friends, while others may opt to stay another night in this French city of delights before embarking on the Green Line tour the following day.

The journey of the Red Line tour commences in Paris and takes you through the picturesque countryside of the Champagne region, renowned globally for its production of sparkling white wine. You'll get to witness the historic attractions of Reims, the capital of the province, including the city's cathedral, a significant national heritage site that hosted coronations of French monarchs from the 11th century onwards.

The next destination, Luxembourg, is steeped in history and tradition as the world's last remaining Grand Duchy. Upon arrival in the elegant Luxembourg City, you'll have the opportunity to explore the main places of interest on foot, such as the Place de Constitution and Pont Adolphe, before enjoying some free time to continue your personal exploration.

Today's journey takes us from Luxembourg to Germany, with our first stop being the ancient city of Trier, known for being the birthplace of Karl Marx. Our walking tour begins with a visit to the Karl Marx Haus museum, located in the house where the philosopher was born. We'll then explore the city center and admire Trier's impressive cathedral, which houses the Holy Robe - a tunic believed to have belonged to Christ. Trier is also referred to as 'The Second Rome,' and remnants of the Roman empire can be seen throughout the city, including the well-preserved Porta Nigra, the city gate north of the Alps.

Next, we'll head to Koblenz, where the Rhine and Mosel rivers meet, and enjoy a relaxing lunch alongside the water. You'll have the option to add on a scenic Rhine boat cruise to take in stunning city vistas. Afterward, we'll drive through the wine-making town of Rüdesheim, if traffic permits, before arriving in Frankfurt am Main. Here, we'll discover the charming Römerberg plaza, complete with a medieval town hall at its center.

As an optional extra, you can choose to stay overnight in Frankfurt or a nearby city.

The day commences with a relaxed drive towards the northwest from Frankfurt to Bonn, which was the capital of West Germany before reunification. Although the national government now operates from Berlin, Bonn remains a city with a rich history that is worth discovering. During an orientation stroll through the streets, you can explore the city's hidden gems and walk past notable landmarks such as the Rococo-style town hall and Ludwig Van Beethoven Haus, a museum dedicated to the life of the beloved composer.

Next, you'll make your way to Cologne, where you'll have the opportunity to enter the city's stunning Gothic Cathedral, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, you can spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Cologne further, indulging in some local shopping, or enjoying a refreshing German beer.

The day concludes with a drive to the Netherlands after lunch.

Begin your day with a relaxing drive through the scenic Dutch countryside, where you’ll have the opportunity to experience some of the country’s iconic traditions up close: wooden clogs, cheese, and windmills. Make a stop at the ever-popular Zaanse Schans, a model town that draws visitors from around the world. Then, leave the tranquil countryside behind and head back to bustling Amsterdam.

In Amsterdam, you’ll have the chance to visit a renowned diamond factory, where you can witness the unique cutting techniques that have been honed over centuries. Consider adding an optional pre-dinner canal cruise, a delightful way to discover more about this fascinating city.

Disembark and stroll to the magnificent Dam Square, home to the Royal Palace and Queen’s birthday celebrations. Here you can snap some photos, shop or explore further before rounding off your day with dinner. (B)
