PIA International Increased Flight Fares for Umrah

PIA international, according to PIA representative spokesperson, has recently increased their flight fare for Umrah pilgrims to Rs. 120,000 from the previous flight fare of 95,628, which amounts to an increase of 24.3%. The fares for Umrah pilgrims for PIA flights going from Lahore city to Jeddah and from Islamabad city to Jeddah have been increased as well. Book Umrah packages.

 

PIA international operates its Umrah flights from all major cities of Pakistan, including Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Karachi. These PIA’s flights include PK 9759 operating from Lahore towards Jeddah, PK 9741 operating from Islamabad to Jeddah, PK 9735 operating from Peshawar to Jeddah, and PK 9731 operating from Karachi to Jeddah. PIA international airline currently charges the following fares for its flights to Jeddah

 

• Fare from Lahore airport to Jeddah airport: Rs. 136,625

• Fare from Islamabad airport to Jeddah airport: Rs. 136,625 

• Fare from Peshawar airport to Jeddah airport: 115,715

These airfare prices can change depending upon the changing global oil prices as ongoing changing demand as there is an increased surge to go for Umrah before Ramazaan, airfare prices will eventually decrease starting from next month of April 2022. 

Other international private airlines following suit have also increased their share of fares for international flights as well due to prevailing shortage of fuel due to the current situation of Russia Ukraine war. The prices of international airfare are expected to increase in the future as well as fuel prices are expected to rise again due to uncertain economic conditions.
