How many nights in Makkah and Madinah?
Most 10-day packages give about 4 to 5 nights in each city. If Makkah is your priority, ask for a 4-night Madinah and 5-night Makkah split. If you want to spend more time in the Prophet's city, ask for the reverse.
Is the optional Taif trip worth it?
Taif is a day trip from Makkah and is known for its cooler weather and mountain scenery. It is optional and not part of Umrah, so it suits travellers with energy to spare, but it is fine to skip it for rest.

Why ten days costs more than seven
Three extra hotel nights, extra ground transport and sometimes added ziyarat raise the cost. Airfare usually stays the same, so the price per day of stay is often lower on a 10-day trip.
