Coronavirus Seems Unbeatable As Cases Rise to 1,865 in Pakistan

During the press conference, the Special Assistant for health of Pakistan Dr. Zafar Mirza told about the coronavirus situation in Pakistan. He said that the government has taken effective preventive measures to control the virus outbreak in Pakistan.

Dr. Zafar said that in Pakistan there is not even a single case that has the travel history of China. It is only become possible by the coordination between the two countries. It was decided not to allow the Chinese citizens to travel before the 14 days. He mentioned that keeping the Pakistan student in Wuhan apart from the domestic pressure proven right.

A flight that brings the stranded Pakistani from Bangkok landed in Islamabad. All the passengers were taken to the isolation centers to carry out the coronavirus test. Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar announced that the provincial government has enhanced the testing so that more coronavirus patients can be identified.

Total Number of Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan:

45 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Punjab and the provincial tally reaches up to 652. Punjab has the highest recorded number of coronavirus cases with the Sindh behind it with 627 cases in the country. KPK has recorded 221 cases, Islamabad 58, Baluchistan 153, Gilgit Baltistan 148 and AJK has reported six cases of the coronavirus. 58 patients have been recovered from the coronavirus up till now.
