The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has now allowed children who are under 7 years of age to be eligible to enter Saudi Arabia’s two most Holy Mosques for ziarat and Umrah under the condition that the children have undergone required complete vaccination, which is approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Umrah Age Limit for Enterance Allowed for Holy Mosques:

The children who are under 7 years of age will be allowed to enter and perform ziarat, holy prayers in the Prophet’s mosque (Madinah) and the Grand Mosque(Makkah). The children who wish to perform the Umrah pilgrimage while entering the holy mosques will need to obtain the required Umrah permit from Saudi official “Eatmarna” and Tawakkalna” apps. 

Saudi App Immune Requirement to Perform Umrah:

The children must also update their health status on the required apps to show as “immune” and their health and related data must also be entered and updated in the “Absher” online system. These new rules are good news for children who wish to accompany their parents in the upcoming Umrah 2022 as even children will be able to enjoy the blessings of Allah through Umrah pilgrimage. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had previous laid rules regarding vaccination requirements for people arriving for Umrah as they must present 
Provide a negative antigen test or their PCR test that is taken during the time period of 48 hours before departure
Provide proof of “immune” status through “Earmarna” and Tawakkalna” apps.
