The Government has finally decided to open the Tourist destination of Gilgit Baltistan after 5 months. The Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan, Meer Afzal Khan has ordered to resume tourism. Previously all the tourist activities we banned due to the spread of the novel coronavirus but now the tourism department of Gilgit Baltistan has also allowed the tourist to travel to its famous travel places. The ban has been lifted from all the places and the area is now open for the visitors.
 

 

Issuance of SOP’s:

The respective government has also issued the standard operating procedure and made it compulsory for all the people to strictly follow them. Moreover, it is also mandatory for travelers to have a negative report of COVID-19. They also have to show the Booking of the Hotel and the details of the traveling to other places as a record.  
 

Resumption of Tourism:

It is pertinent to mention here that due to the rapid increase in the coronavirus cases almost all the life activities were halted. Similarly, the transport department, hotel industry, and the whole tourism department have suffered a lot. But now with the decision to Resume The Tourism Activities the people have become happy and contented as they can now freely visit their favorite traveling destinations.
 
Due to the restriction on the travelling from previous 5 months, it is expected that a large number of people will visit Gilgit Baltistan to witness the wonders of nature.
