Umrah Registration Guidelines and Policy 2022 for Umrah Pilgrims

Good news for Muslims worldwide as Umrah pilgrims who wish to perform Umrah in the next Islamic year of 1444 starting from 1st Muharram, which will most likely be on the 30th of July 2022. The confirmed date for the new Islamic year will be made according to the sighting of the crescent moon on the July 28th 2022. Book Umrah packages in Muharram.

The Ministry of Hajj & Umrah has now started the booking and registration for Umrah 2022 for pilgrims outside of the kingdom from the 19th July 2022 (20 Dhul Hijjah 1443), as well as providing Umrah permits for those who reside in the kingdom from the 18th July 2022 (19 Dhul Hijjah 1443).

The ministry of Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah has set forth some new guidelines and policies regarding Umrah 2022, which are as follows 

• PCR tests and COVID 19 vaccine requirements are not needed

• Umrah pilgrims above the age of 5 can obtain an Umrah permit from the Eatmarna app

• Children pilgrims who are below the age of 5 must be accompanied by their parents to offer prayers at the Two Holy Mosques but will not be allowed entry into Mataaf for the Umrah

• Umra visas will start to be issued from July 15th 2022, for local and foreign Umrah pilgrims

• For other vaccines requirements, please check your local accredited agencies 

• Issuance for Umrah and visiting Radwah (Holy Prophet Chamber) permits can be obtained through Eatmarna App

• Those who wish to apply for a Saudi Arabia Tourist visa can obtain permits from the 18th July 2022

• Umrah pilgrim's first batch for Umrah will start their arrival on the 1st date of Muharram
