According to a statement made by Dubai Corporation Tourism and Commerce Marketing CEO Mr.Issam Kazim the 5 year tourist visa was appreciated. However, as the 5 year visa was introduced softly, they are working with Dubai authorities to expand it on a much bigger level as it will help attract tourists from nearby regions. 

According to Mr. Issam Kazim, Indian people already make up over 1 million visitors to UAE for the first 10 months of 2022. Moreover, if Indian people have multiple entry visas, they can easily visit Dubai for events, concerts and stopovers on their way to Europe and the USA. 

 

 

Indian tourists are among the top tourist visitors for UAE and Dubai along with millions of others visiting the UAE country every year. The latest data figures showed that 1.438 million Indians out of 11.4 million international visitors visited Dubai from January 2022 – October 2022 period. 

According to Mr.Issam Kazim they had initiated a heavy campaign behind the tourist visa 5 year as they had introduced it in specific markets and the industry. Mr. Issam Kazim further clarified that they did not want to face a considerable request load for visa clearance as they wanted a dedicated system insalled. 

UAE received a total of 4.88 million tourists during the first 10 months last year, which was only 16% less than visitors before the pandemic. Oman and India are among the major countries from which more than a million people visited UAE during 2022 year’s first 10 months, followed by Russia, Suadi Arabia, Germany, UK, USA, France, Iran, and Pakistan.

 

Mr. Issam Kazim clarified that the main aim is to get people on board so that they can apply for their 5-year visa from the official Dubai Corporation for Tourism & Commerce. 

Tourists who wish to visit UAE on their 5 year multiple entry tourist visa must fulfill the requirements mentioned below

• Have proof of $4000 or equivalent in your bank balance during the last 6 months before the application

• Have a return travel ticket to your country

• Have reservation proof of hotel or residence

• Have health insurance proof 

• Have a photocopy of your front and last passport page

• Have passport-sized photos with white background

• Have a copy of the flight ticket

• Have invitation letters from family or friends
