In March Saudi Arabia imposed the travel restrictions in the wake of the raising concerns over the coronavirus. Later on, the kingdom also put a ban on the pilgrims to offer the Umrah. This year also the people staying in Saudi Arabia were only allowed to offer Hajj and their number was minimized to 1000 to halt the spread of the coronavirus. Uplift on Travel Restrictions
The ministry of interior proclaimed that all travel restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic will be uplifted from the New Year 2021. The transport by the three routes such as land, sea, and air will be resumed by properly following the precautionary measures. However, the authorities have still not announced any final date of ease the travel restrictions and it will be declared at least 30 days before the New Year.
